Third store in Maebashi, 14th in the prefecture

Maebashi already has two listed stores, Matsunoya Maebashi Kamikoidemachi and Matsunoya Maebashi Motosojamachi. Maebashi Akagi Mall will be the third in the city, sitting about 2.8 kilometers from the nearest one, Maebashi Kamikoidemachi, and about 6.3 kilometers from Maebashi Motosojamachi (both straight-line distances, not road distances).

Gunma currently has 13 listed stores, so the new one will be the 14th. All 13 existing stores in the prefecture, and the new store as well, are co-located with Matsuya; not a single standalone store or store co-located with Mycurry Shokudo is listed. Nationwide, the 682 stores break down into 474 co-located with Matsuya, 86 co-located with Mycurry Shokudo, and 122 standalone stores. Against a national mix where standalone stores account for nearly 20 percent, Gunma’s network leans entirely toward co-location.
