Matsunoya to Hand Out Sumikkogurashi Keychains with Kid's Meal

Matsuya Foods announced on the 30th that its tonkatsu chain Matsunoya and Matsuya will run “Sumikkogurashi Gyu♪ to Gohoubi Campaign,” a collaboration with Sumikkogurashi, from 10:00 a.m. on October 6, 2026. The campaign covers Matsuya and Matsunoya nationwide and ends at 9:59 a.m. on December 22, 2026. The company notes that available menu items and prices may differ by store.

At Matsunoya, the Kid’s Meal is the only eligible item

Each order of one eligible item comes with one collaboration-exclusive “Sumikkogurashi Reflector Keychain.” Three items are listed as eligible, and the only Matsunoya item is the Kid’s Meal (500 yen). At stores where Matsuya and Matsunoya are co-located, the remaining two items — the Matsuya Kids’ Gyumeshi Wakuwaku Set and the Matsuya Kids’ Curry Wakuwaku Set — are the ones offered.

Orders through Matsuben Net, Matsuya Mobile Order and Matsuben Delivery also qualify. The notice adds, however, that Matsunoya does not offer takeout or Matsuben Delivery.

Six designs, with no choice of which one

The keychains are reflectors that shine back when light hits them in the dark, and measure within roughly 50 mm (H) × 50 mm (W). The front carries a Sumikkogurashi character and the back has a space to write a name. There are six designs, and because they are handed out at random, the design cannot be chosen. The announcement image marks them as not for sale.

Distribution runs from 10:00 a.m. on October 6 to 9:59 a.m. on November 17. It continues while supplies last, and once the collaboration-exclusive goods run out, Matsunoya switches to its regular-period giveaway. Matsuya switches to a Matsuya original papercraft. For the status of prize stock, the company directs customers to contact individual stores.
