StoresAddedNew store

As of 11:00 on October 8, 2026, three new stores appear on Matsunoya’s store list. Every one of the listings carries a scheduled opening date, and the three will open in stages from October 27 through November 1, 2026. All three are stores co-located with Matsuya, and all three list their business hours as “open 24 hours.” Nationwide listings stand at 686 stores.

The Three Newly Listed Stores

Kani Is the Only One of Gifu’s Nine Stores in Kani City

With Kani added, Gifu has nine listings, and Kani is the only one of them located in Kani. No other Matsunoya is listed in the same municipality. Gifu’s co-location breakdown is seven stores co-located with Matsuya, one co-located with Mycurry Shokudo, and one standalone store with neither — which puts Kani in the most common type, co-located with Matsuya.

Kuki Shobu Is the Second Store in Kuki; Saitama Ranks Third Nationwide with 57

Once Kuki Shobu is added, Kuki will have two listings. “Matsunoya Kuki Honcho (co-located with Matsuya)” is also listed in the same city.

Saitama has 57 listings, third nationwide behind Tokyo’s 106 and Osaka’s 71. Chiba and Kanagawa both stand at 48, which places Saitama right behind Tokyo within the greater Tokyo area. The prefecture breaks down into 45 stores co-located with Matsuya, seven co-located with Mycurry Shokudo and five standalone stores, so Kuki Shobu joins the largest of those groups as well.

Asahikawa Nagayama Is the Third Store in Asahikawa; Hokkaido Has No Standalone Stores at All

Once Asahikawa Nagayama is added, Asahikawa will have three listings. “Matsunoya Asahikawa Omachi (co-located with Matsuya)” and “Matsunoya Asahikawa Shijo (co-located with Matsuya)” are also listed in the city, making all three co-located with Matsuya.

Hokkaido has 21 listings in total: 19 co-located with Matsuya and two co-located with Mycurry Shokudo. There are zero standalone Matsunoya locations with neither, so every Matsunoya in Hokkaido is listed as co-located with another brand. Of the 686 stores nationwide, 122 are standalone, which makes Hokkaido the exception to that pattern.

Seven Stores Are Awaiting Opening

At the same point in time, seven stores carry a scheduled opening listing.

Matsunoya Yatsushiro (co-located with Matsuya) Kumamoto October 15, 2026, 10:00
Matsunoya Chiba Nitona (co-located with Matsuya) Chiba October 20, 2026, 10:00

Matsunoya Asahikawa Nagayama (co-located with Matsuya) Hokkaido November 1, 2026, 10:00

The seven are spread across seven prefectures — Kyoto, Kumamoto, Chiba, Saitama, Gunma, Gifu and Hokkaido — with no prefecture holding two at once. Only Asahikawa Nagayama falls in November; the remaining six are listed to open within October.
