A new entry, “Matsunoya Takasaki Shimanomachi (co-located with Matsuya) ※Opening November 27, 2026 at 10:00,” has been added to the Matsunoya store list. The location is 984-1 Shimanomachi, Takasaki-shi, Gunma, and the listed business hours are open 24 hours. The opening is given as November 27, 2026 at 10:00.

Third store in Takasaki, tying the prefecture’s busiest city

Including the new store, three Matsunoya locations are listed in Takasaki. All three are co-located with Matsuya, and their distances from the new store are as follows.

Store (as listed) Location Straight-line distance from new store
Matsunoya Takasaki Shimanomachi (co-located with Matsuya) 984-1 Shimanomachi, Takasaki ―
Matsunoya Takasaki Minamiorui (co-located with Matsuya) 915-1 Minamioruimachi, Takasaki approx. 2.4 km
Matsunoya Takasaki Ekimae (co-located with Matsuya) 17-10 Yashimacho, Takasaki approx. 4.2 km

The cities with three Matsunoya stores in Gunma are Maebashi, Isesaki and Ota; Takasaki had two until now. Once the new store opens on November 27, 2026, these four cities will each have three. The remaining Fujioka, Tatebayashi and Yoshioka-cho have one each.

All 15 stores in Gunma are co-located with Matsuya

Gunma has 15 Matsunoya stores including this one. All 15 are co-located with Matsuya; no standalone Matsunoya and no store co-located with Mycurry Shokudo is listed in the prefecture.

Of the 694 stores nationwide, 495 are co-located with Matsuya, 76 with Mycurry Shokudo, and 123 are standalone. Standalone stores account for just under 20 percent nationwide, yet Gunma will continue to have none of that format.

Business hours are uniform as well: 14 of the 15 stores in the prefecture are listed as “open 24 hours.” The only exception is Maebashi Kamikoidemachi at “5:00–2:00 (next day), last order 15 min before closing,” and the new store is listed as open 24 hours.

One store opens in Maebashi today

Elsewhere in Gunma, Maebashi Akagi Mall opens today at 10:00, and the opening notice has been removed from its listed store name. The prefecture is thus gaining one store each in Maebashi and Takasaki in quick succession.
