Matsunoya Posts a Ticket Machine Coupon on X After Matsuya App Outage

Billed as all stores, yet some stores are said to be excluded

The banner on the flyer reads “Valid at all Matsunoya stores,” but the end of the post lines up “*Not available at some stores.” and “*Prices differ at some stores.” There are item-level exclusions as well: the Minced Meat Cutlet items are “not available in Okinawa Prefecture,” and the Extra Thick-Cut Rib Loin Cutlet items are “not available at Okinawa stores.”

The post also carries the notes “*App coupons are excluded from fairs.” and “*A late-night surcharge of around 7% applies between 22:00 and 5:00 the next morning.” The flyer adds “*Limited to menu items sold at the store you visit.” and “*Coupon prices are available only from the coupon page (tab). Purchases from other pages (tabs) will be at regular prices.”

It falls within a points-boost period

A notice on the official website announces triple points on mobile order and double points on Matsuben Net from 14:00 on October 27, 2026 to 23:00 on November 9, 2026. Both run through the very channels this post says are unavailable, and the period still has time left. On the coupon side, the “Shinmai Fair Coupon,” which began at 15:00 on October 7, 2026, had just ended at 15:00 on October 28, 2026.

The wording differs from the usual posts

This post uses none of the emoticons such as “(≧∇≦)” that lined up through October’s posts, and not a single emoji or exclamation mark. The only symbols are the two “⚠️” framing the opening and the close — the same pattern as the September 28 and October 25, 2026 posts that gave advance notice of coupons ending.

It closes in formal phrasing, with “we are sorry for the inconvenience” and “we ask for your kind understanding,” and the notes marked with “*” stack six lines deep.

Update: On October 30, 2026, the official TikTok account posted the same 2D code

Matsunoya’s official TikTok account (@matsu_noya) posted the same app coupon as a photo post at 13:32 on October 30, 2026. The caption opens with “The services of the Matsuya app (mobile order, Matsuben Net, app coupons and so on) are currently unavailable due to the effects of unauthorized access from outside,” and, as with the previous day’s X post, gives no date or time for restoration.

The first image is titled “Notice and Apology from Matsunoya” and states, “Holding the 2D code posted at the end of this post up to the ticket machine will let you use app coupons.” Below that, two lines in red read “*Matsuya app points will not be awarded.” and “*The contents of the app coupon are subject to change.”

The second image is the unauthorized access notice and apology, closing with “We ask for your patience until service is restored.”

From the third image on, the same app coupon flyer as the previous day’s X post appears. The items and discounts matched the tables above.

The flyer is split by discount category, with the eligible items and prices listed under each.

The notes differ from post to post

For the same coupon, the accompanying notes do not match the previous day’s X post.

The coupon discount goes through at the ticket machine, but no points are awarded. That point was not written in the previous day’s X post.

The usual TikTok posts also line up emoji such as “🔥,” “🍁” and “🐷” together with hashtags, but this one uses no emoji, exclamation marks or hashtags at all.
