StoresUpdated

The note “*Opening October 28, 2026 at 10:00,” marking a scheduled opening, has been removed from the listings for Matsunoya Shin-Tsunashima (Kohoku Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa) and Matsunoya Maebashi Akagi Mall (Maebashi, Gunma). Both stores opened as announced. Shin-Tsunashima is a standalone Matsunoya with no Matsuya attached, while Maebashi Akagi Mall is co-located with Matsuya.

Shin-Tsunashima Is Kohoku Ward’s Second Store, and a Standalone in the Prefecture’s Minority

Including Shin-Tsunashima, two Matsunoya stores are listed in Kohoku Ward, Yokohama. Both are standalone stores with neither Matsuya nor Mycurry Shokudo attached, but their listed business hours differ.

Matsunoya Shin-Tsunashima HANARE Kita, 1-8-7 Tsunashimahigashi, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Open 24 hours
Matsunoya Kikuna Kikushige Building, 4-2-3 Kikuna, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama 9:00–23:30, last order 30 min before closing

Kanagawa has 49 stores listed in total, ranking fourth nationwide behind Tokyo with 106, Osaka with 72, and Saitama with 57. By co-location type, however, standalone stores account for just 12 of the prefecture’s 49. The “Open 24 hours” listing applies to 26 stores in the prefecture, roughly half.

Co-located with Mycurry Shokudo 13 stores 76 stores
No co-location (standalone store) 12 stores 123 stores

Including Maebashi Akagi Mall, three Matsunoya stores are listed in Maebashi, Gunma. All are co-located with Matsuya; two are listed as “Open 24 hours” and one closes at 2:00 in the early morning.

A word from our Matsunoya novice

Hm. Only 12 Matsunoya in Kanagawa without a Matsuya attached. Shin-Tsunashima stands on its own, then.
